Video

name : Vintage Porsche Advertisement
year : 2024
made with : Adobe After Effects
goal : This assignment was to find an audio track then build a motion graphics video using that audio. I found this 1980’s era porsche ad audio track and my personal goal was to emulate the design styles and technology of that time to make a period correct motion graphics advertisement. I used simple shapes, basic movements, and even created my own CRT TV effect to overlay over the entire video.

name : Big Bend 300
year : 2025
medium : Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
goal : A combination of run and gun style vlog combined with cinematic color grade and B roll. Also used a GoPro with filters to capture cinematic footage as well.

name : MTB Overhaul
year : 2024
medium : Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
goal : I wanted to document the process of me overhauling my mountain bike, but push it to the next level cinetamically. I spent most of my time dealing with the color grade and framing of the shots to help convey more of a story. Overall I’m very happy with the result, but next time I would work on my sound design because that isn’t one of my strongsuits.

name : Apollo 13 Intro
year : 2024
tools used : Davinci Resolve, After Effects, and the NASA archives
goal : This assignment was to take a movie you hadn’t seen yet, read only the script, then craft an intro to the movie that conveys what you believe the actual intro would look like. Apollo 13 was released in 1995 but covered the story that took place in a 1970’s NASA setting. With that all the footage used was found in the NASA archives, most of it from that time in history. This really pushed the authenticity. I then used a Selectric typeface which is the same typeface used on their typewriters at that period as well.

name : Aggie Park Cinematic
year : 2024
tools used : Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Illustrator
goal : This was a personal project of mine with 2 goals in mind: sound design and an emulation of 1990s film (think Goodwill Hunting). Most of my time for this one was spent crafting the color grade in getting the hues to be exactly what I had envisioned in my head, the vintage film look which included the grain, decreased sharpness and the subtle translation of every frame to give it that shake that so many old films have. After that I dove into the sound design to build out a sensory environment.
